Il museo della ceramica di Sermoneta è un'esposizione di reperti archeologici e artistici raccolti in tre sale del palazzo Caetani del comune lepino a testimonianza dell'arte ceramica dalla preistoria al XIX secolo. 🇬🇧 The museum of the Potteries of Sermoneta is an exposition of archaelogical and artistic finds in three rooms of the castle Caetani to witness the art of pottery from prehistory to XIX century. 🇫🇷 Le musée de la céramique de Sermoneta est une exposition d'objets archéologiques et artistiques rassemblés dans trois salles du palais Caetani et témoignage de l'art de la céramique de la préhistoire au XIXe siècle.

Sermoneta sorge su una collina che domina la pianura Pontina. Si respira un’aria di tempi passati ma anche di attualità, modernità e dinamismo. Negli ultimi cento anni nel suo territorio sono nate le riprese di ben oltre novanta film, tra cui, Non ci resta che piangere, con il duo Benigni-Troisi.  🇬🇧 Sermoneta rises over a hill which overlooks the Pontina's flat land. We can breath air that come from passed times but also air of contemporary, dinamism and modernity. In the past hundred years, in the territory, are born ninety films, in which "Non ci resta che piangere" with the duet Benigni-Troisi. 🇫🇷 Sermoneta se dresse sur une colline surplombant la plaine Pontine.  On peut respiree un air du passé mais aussi de l'actualité, de la modernité et du dynamisme. Cours des dernières années, plus de 90 films ont été tournés sur son territoire, notamé "Nous ne restons pas" avec le duo Benigni-Troisi.

Caratteristici del paese di Sermoneta, sono i vicoli che sembrano creare un labirinto, dal quale, se non si ha un buon orientamento, è difficile uscire. In questi vicoli si possono trovare negozietti tipici del paesino, panifici e biscottifici e negozi di artigiani.   🇬🇧 Characteristic of the town of Sermoneta are the alleys that create a labyrinth, from which, if you do not have a good orientation, it is difficult to exit. Dans cettes ruelles on peut trouver des boutiques, des  boulangeries et des boutiques d'artisans.

Il territorio compreso nel comune di Sermoneta presenta notevoli testimonianze archeologiche che si articolano cronologicamente e in maniera consistente dalla prima età del ferro. Sono, infatti, scarse le fonti risalenti all’età del bronzo e alla preistoria.  🇬🇧 The territory in the municipality of Sermoneta has a lot of   archaeological evidences, which develops in a  chronological way from the Iron Age. The evidences from the Bronze Age and Prehistory are less. 🇫🇷 Le territoire de la  municipalité de Sermoneta pré sente beaucuop d e  témoignages archéologiques, les quelles se développent  par ordre chronologique depuis l' âge de fer. Les  témoignages de l'age du Bronze e de la prehistoire sont moins.

La cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta è sorta nel XII secolo sulle rovine di un tempio dedicato alla dea Cibale. La cattedrale fu costruita con pianta basilicale, in stile romanico e fu intitolata a Santa Maria Assunta. 🇬🇧 The cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta was built in the 12th century on the ruins of a temple dedicated to the goddess Cibale.  The cathedral was built with a basilical plan, in Romanesque style and was named after Santa Maria Assunta. 🇫🇷 La cathédrale de Santa Maria Assunta a été construite au 12ème siècle sur les ruines d'un temple dédié à la déesse Cibale.  La cathédrale a été construite avec un plan basilical, dans le style roman et a été nommée d'après Santa Maria Assunta.

Le origini dell’antica fortezza risalgono al XIII sec. quando gli Annibaldi, famiglia baronale di Sermoneta, decisero di costruire  una rocca inespugnabile  la quale subì nei secoli molti ampliamenti e trasformazioni ad opera dei successivi proprietari. 🇬🇧 The origins of the ancient fortress date back to the 13th century, when the Annibaldi family, a baronial family of Sermoneta, decided to build an impregnable fortress which underwent many enlargements and transformations over the centuries by the subsequent owners. 🇫🇷 Les origines de l'ancienne forteresse remontent au 13ème siècle, lorsque la famille Annibaldi, une famille baronniale de Sermoneta, décida de construire une forteresse imprenable qui subit de nombreux agrandissements et transformations au cours des siècles de la part des propriétaires suivants.  

Il panorama che si puo' osservare dalle strade di Sermoneta suscita nello spettatore meraviglia e voglia di libertà.
