Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta

La cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta è sorta nel XII secolo sulle rovine di un tempio dedicato alla dea Cibale. La cattedrale fu costruita con pianta basilicale, in stile romanico e fu intitolata a Santa Maria Assunta.

The cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta was built in the 12th century on the ruins of a temple dedicated to the goddess Cibale.  The cathedral was built with a basilical plan, in Romanesque style and was named after Santa Maria Assunta.

La cathédrale de Santa Maria Assunta a été construite au 12ème siècle sur les ruines d'un temple dédié à la déesse Cibale.  La cathédrale a été construite avec un plan basilical, dans le style roman et a été nommée d'après Santa Maria Assunta.

Il panorama che si puo' osservare dalle strade di Sermoneta suscita nello spettatore meraviglia e voglia di libertà.
